Quelle portée obtiendrez-vous réellement ?
La valeur officielle est un résultat de laboratoire à une température modérée. Deux éléments la modifient lors d'un voyage réel : la vitesse soutenue et le froid.
Pourquoi la vitesse coûte si cher
À des vitesses urbaines, la majeure partie de votre énergie est utilisée pour accélérer la masse, et le freinage régénératif en récupère une bonne part. Sur une autoroute, presque aucune ne l'est — vous poussez l'air en permanence, et ce coût évolue avec le carré de votre vitesse tandis que la puissance requise évolue avec le cube.
La conséquence pratique est que la différence entre 110 et 130 km/h est beaucoup plus grande que la différence de vitesse de 18 % ne le suggère. Lors d'un long trajet, réduire de 20 km/h permet souvent d'éviter un arrêt de recharge, ce qui fait gagner plus de temps que cela n'en coûte.

La pénalité hivernale
Deux effets se cumulent. L'habitacle a besoin de chauffage, et dans une voiture avec chauffage résistif, cela tire directement de la batterie de traction. De plus, le pack lui-même accepte et délivre l'énergie moins facilement lorsqu'il fait froid, ce qui ralentit également la charge rapide. Des études mesurant les effets de la température ambiante sur la consommation quantifient le résultat combiné [1].
